The Peter Principle states that "in a hierarchy every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence", meaning that employees tend to be promoted until they reach a position at which they cannot work competently。 彼得原理是指:在各种组织中,雇员总是趋向于晋升到其不称职的地位。彼得原理有时也被称为向上爬的原理。
