Job Purpose / Context(H)WQR3\ e 
Assist Finance Manger with responsibility for all management accounting and reporting aspects of FTChinese.com and FTRui Magazine business.

Job Description0~<= rd 
Main Duties and Responsibilities

1.    Preparation and management of annual budget and quarterly forecast, including advertising revenue and conference revenue, variable costs for printing magazine, department overheads, and marketing and product spend

2.    To track business performance, identifying emerging trends and risks, and assess their impact on profitability and cashflow

3.    To  conduct ad hoc analysis such as circulation profitability reviews, print site reviews and advertising trend analysis

4.    To seek improvements and enhancements in existing work practices, processes, analysis and reports

5.    Management of bonus and commission objectives and payments for advertising and conference teams

6.    Month end process: revenue recognition with supporting documents from sales departments, make accruals based on supporting from departments

7.    Maintain Purchase Order procedure and ensure implementation

Qualifications / Competencies / Skills / Experience

l  At least five years relevant business analysis working experience, MNC experience is a must.

l  Good communication skills, ability to work effectively with department heads.

l  Fluency in both English and Putonghua, written and verbal

l  High proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel for data modelling and analysis

l  Highly developed analysis skills, able to interrogate multiple data sources, analyse results and present findings either verbally or in written form

l  Proficient in the use of a variety of finance and business information systems

l  Good understanding on accounting principles, policies and procedures

l  Organisation and planning skills to manage both short term imperatives and long term planning

l  Enthusiasm, resilience, drive and commitment, capable of  working effectively in a constantly changing and pressured environment
