The HR consultant will provide generalist support to the China Chengdu site. This position reports to Human Resources Manager, China HR Direct Team.

Responsible for providing HR advisory services to business managers and employees.

Management of key HR programs/processes and owning the success of these implementations

Ensure effective communication of human resource practices, processes, and programs to management and employees.

Partner to conduct investigations and management of disciplinary cases; advisory on execution in country

Ensure business practices are in line with HR policies and local legislature

Provide consultation and guidance to senior management and organizational partners in the interpretation of human resource management policies, procedures, programs and application of related government laws and regulations.

Partner with internal HR stakeholders such as HRBP, TA, C&B, and LED etc. on difficult or unusual problems.

Lead/co-lead HR-related projects

Change management enabler

Key HR engagement lead and facilitator

At least 5 years of HR generalist experience. Software industry experience preferred.

Strong general HR experience (MNC) and in particular managing workforce exits; cross functional experience would be beneficial

Customer centricity

Strong knowledge of local labor legislature

Engagement & facilitation skills & experience

Good written, oral and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational, analytical skills

Good external HR network

Mature and logical mindset

Excellent MS Excel skills
