Job Purpose
The senior accountant assists the Finance manager in the daily operations of the company’s financial department, and ensures the smooth, accurate and timely flow of payments into and out of the company. This includes managing accounts payable and accounts receivable. Within assist finance manager to create and implement SOP in aim to support company effective operation and control operation cost.
The senior accountant is responsible for assisting the Finance manager to monitor the performance of staff, helping to improve the quality of the work and creating analysis reports as required.
Responsibilities
·Prepare weekly internal administration report deliver to the related people required.
·Assist the department heads to maintain the accounting system on a regular basis.
·Assist the department heads to make continuous improvement on procedures.
·Assist the finance manager to set up new subsidiary /branch if necessary.
·Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
·Monitor expenditures, ensuring data is recorded in the company’s financial accounting system
·Prepare journal entries
·Assist monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements
·Prepare analysis of accounts as requested
·Assist with year end closings
·Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable
·Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
·Monitor and resolve bank issues including fee anomalies and check differences
·Review and process expense reports
·Complete the monthly/annual tax declaration with the help of the Finance Manager
·Must have appropriate certifications and industry training
·Set and maintained finance policies, procedures, financial accounting system in aim to support company goal with the help of Finance Manager
Requirements:
·Over 5-year experiences in accounting areas and over 3-year experiences in senior position
·Bachelor degree or above, subject in accounting is preferable
·Proficient in English communication both in written and spoken
·Team-work spirit
·Excellent communication and coordination skills
