The company is a China-based agriculture company with operations in China and internationally. In China, we engage in research and development, production and sale of seed products, including field corn seeds, edible corn seeds and vegetable seeds. We own through Agria Asia a majority equity interest in PGG Wrightson, New Zealand's largest agricultural services company. PGG Wrightson reported turnover of NZ$1.2 billion (US$1.0 billion) for the 12 months ended June 30, 2011.

Key responsibilities:

To build productive corporate culture in a China Agriculture organization, bridge employees with management, Competitive C&B benchmarking, labor compliance, safety
To take overall responsibility for the day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, performance management, staff relations, compensation and benefits advisory, and HR systems.
To work with local office MDs and department heads in formulating recruitment strategies to meet budgeted headcount requirements, and ensure a timely and effective recruitment process.
To drive HR system development and maintenance, catering to management requirements on the analysis and reporting requirements in relation to HR information and statistics.
To work closely with Training & Development in relevant program, development and coordination, including the Graduate Trainee Program.
To keep up-do-date on labor legislation and other government policies, and ensure full compliance across all entities in China.
To lead and manage an efficient and effective HR team in China.
Represent the organization in dealings with external groups relevant to areas of accountability (solicitors, consultants)
Work with internal clients to ensure consistency with HR policy, standards and practices and /or facilitate the negotiation and agreement of appropriate variations and exemptions.
Qualifications/Skill:

Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline such as Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, Psychology or Social Science will be highly regarded.
Knowledge of a diverse range of human resource specialties including recruitment, current employment legislation, Occupational Health and Safety and ‘Employer of Choice’ practices.
·         7~10 years above experience in Human Resources field with HR experience could be a good fit.

·         Ideal age range: 32-40 with energy and passion to grow with the company
