Senior Purchasing Executive-Intrepidtravel-Dongcheng district

The Senior Purchasing Executive provides managerial assistance and support to the Purchasing & Reservations Department and PEAK Beijing under the supervision of the Purchasing & Reservations Manager. The specific tasks and responsibilities in this role may include monitoring the accuracy of trip reservations, sourcing suppliers and products, liaising with business partners to manage purchasing, reservation and supplier issues, providing quotations for PEAK brands and contracting suppliers for PEAK products within China. The Senior Purchasing Executive plays a key role in working with the Purchasing & Reservations team to achieve department and company goals as well as contributing to the overall profitability of PEAK Beijing.

§  Proven experience within the local travel industry, including purchasing, reservations managing contracts and preparing quotations

§  Broad personal and/or professional travel experience within China

§  Ability to demonstrate a high standard of customer service

§  Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage own workload

§  A working knowledge of Microsoft software, including Word, Excel and Outlook

§  Confident written and spoken communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese
