Purpose of Position
• To support HR team’s work in hiring, L&D and compensation
Major Responsibility
Ongoing Responsibility
• Assist HR supervisor in the recruitment of employees (screen CV, interview coordination, offering, pre-on boarding and on boarding logistics etc.)
• Labor contract management for employees
• Help with training logistics for L&D Supervisor
• Be responsible for employee filing/archive
• Other tasks assigned by the supervisor
Project Tasks:
Performance Evaluation Criteria
Full legal compliance for employee contract management
Effective support to HR team members
Relationships
A. Internal Contacts - Frequent contact with employees at all levels within CSCL, PeopleSoft data stewards in other Corning entities in China and HR Information Management
Education & Experience
• Well organized and be attentive to details;
• Good skills working with employee with various background;
• Good communication skills – both oral and in-written, including English
• CET-6
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks.
Required Competency (Skills, Knowledge and Abilities)
• Bachelor degree
• Minimum 3yrs. Experience in providing HR support
• Previous experience in multi-national environment is preferred
