JOB DESCRIPTION - DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:   7DNX)  
This position will be responsible for allocating staff to projects and will work with the Development Manager/ Quality Manager to appraise staff during the assignment.  The successful candidates will report to Manager of Resources Development, RTCL.  The position will be base in Beijing.hf$WARz\@k

• Liaise with Human Resources to develop training plans for staff in your group1/?0EB`.; 
• Determine project assignments for staff considering both the business goals of the Company and the skills development goals of individualsR EhM:G 
• Engage the local HR Talent Acquisition function to ensure strategic recruitment takes place>zWP$pP 
• Recruit staffs according to the development centre requirement3`N!8|re. 
• Maintain defined levels of staff utilization and participate in the project process at the strategic program level to maintain your exposure to the businessQml:dr}D 
• Ensure that Thomson Reuters technical and business knowledge management needs are met

Qualifications

Qualification:   T=^g@+ | 
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field     !z'u

Required Skills (Must have), Necessary industry Experience & associated number of years of experience:   -1m 04

• 5 years of relevant experience as Project Management in an IT environmentFgJyE<>$+ 
• 3 - 5 years of People Management Development experience(o~pEv\_ 
• Demonstrate general management skills e.g. succession management, mentoring and coaching.5X$QnU 
• Broad technical understanding preferably in a development environmentf/a ?'4 
• The ability to think outside the box to ensure staff are fully utilized e.g., seconding staff to other groups/projects both locally and globallyf*-&Fl N 
• The ability to manage risks and dependencies that impact resources availability,a 'ikm. 
• The ability to work with people of different levels and with varying talents and to be able to motivate and develop themK_ B |O) 
• Patient and understanding when dealing with staffing issues)V !X|f|w 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.E_^:8:_ 
• Good written and spoken English

Experienced in software development, customer support or data centre operationssu-Go<8 
Leading a team of not less than 2 direct or functional reports in the past-7'\Iq  
Documentation (proven by some recent accomplishments)sj*7D&
