HR (Senior) Manager
Summary
This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide HR leadership in our Beijing office. The person in this role will drive local programs & initiatives that support employee engagement and ensures that HR components support and drive business plans. He or she will also serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on a variety of HR topics, with focus on assisting the organization to achieve its business plans.
Key Accountabilities:
Employee Engagement
1. Serve as a trusted, credible, sought-after resource for staff and leadership
2. In partnership with operation leadership, manage the office’s climate to inspire commitment, loyalty, pride, and spirit in the organization, making Everbridge a great place to work
3. Monitor employee engagement and recommend engagement strategies and programs
4. Design and implement programs and activities to build community and support Everbridge’s culture.
5. Support managers in organizational changes and employee relations issues.
6. Ensure effective on-boarding of new employees to accelerate productivity of new employees.
7. Identify and lead employee initiatives to meet HR goals or enhance workplace climate
8. Conduct stay and exit interviews to identify themes from employees and make recommendation for workplace enhancements.
Payroll, Compensation & Benefits
1. Maintain local pay & benefits program
2. Coach managers in making promotions and pay decisions for all staff in assigned operations
3. Manage the annual bonus and merit increase process, ensuring internally equitable and externally competitive pay levels for staff
4. Ensure accurate processing of annual and off-cycle pay decisions
5. Assist in the development of comprehensive compensation and benefit programs that are competitive and cost effective
Staff Development
1. Develop employees' abilities and capabilities so they can grow and see a long-term future with the company through talent reviews, career pathing, mentoring, training and performance management
2. Lead the performance review process for Beijing office
3. Identify training & development needs and market offerings
4. Conduct HR training as needed
5. Manage performance plans and development plans for staff
6. Identify and drive programs that result in successful HR metrics across development
