JOB TITLE:                    Talent Scout Manager APAC                      

Role description

The Talent Scout is an operational role in TC APAC team, who can independently work with full responsibility of recruiting and hiring for Irdeto Group offices in APAC. Reporting to Geographical Sr. Manager - Talent Community APAC

Primary responsibilities

§  Understand company recruiting objective and strategy, align to business needs, work with hiring managers and BP on short term and long term recruitment

§  Responsible for developing appropriate resource acquisition strategies, and managing the end-to-end resourcing process to deliver agreed targets for roles within assigned business areas, ensuring the expected delivery, covering the Asia/Pac region, including 80% in Beijing and other 20% cover Shanghai, Taiwan, SG, Sydney, New Delhi, Seoul, Tokyo.

§   Take initiatives to communicate with hiring managers to understand general and unique requirement on target candidates, provide complete and transparent analysis of recruiting status.

§  Prepare job posting internally and externally, make sure all postings are consolidated with manpower resource plan

§  Work with job-board suppliers on database and ads management, screen CVs, identify target candidates, directly approach candidates and conduct initial interviews, then provide short list to hiring managers.

§  Work with executive search agencies in APAC region for candidates sourcing, also manage the performance of the agencies on quality of delivery, timeline and placement rate, necessary report of Hunter service is required.

§  Facilitate the interview for hiring manager, also participate the interview panel and provide professional comments

§  Take full responsibility of offer process (incl. offer proposal, offer negotiation, offer preparation, offer extending, etc.)

§  Work closely with the peers in TC team; ensure a smooth move from employee hiring to employee on board.

§  Generate reports on recruitment status, vendor performance analysis, market trend and other related reports upon requests.

§  Maintain and fully responsible for recruiting system (Open Hire), ensure the whole cycle of recruitment is completed on the system. (Incl. job requisition approval, job posting, candidates uploading, etc.)

§  With regards to the recruitment industry and market trends, providing a full consultative service to line managers, especially who are based out of China such as in Holland, American and Canada.

§  Maximizes the usage of internal and external referrals to support strategic business recruitment needs, thereby reducing time/cost to hire, and increasing quality of candidates and employee engagement.

§  Build pipeline of candidates and maintain relationships with qualified candidates and contacts, establish/maintain talent pool that provides internal sourcing capability

§   

Additional responsibilities

§  Initiatively support TC/Business manager to collect the talent market intelligence in certain industry, e.g. ramp up plan, employer branding, retention plan etc

§  Contributes to Irdeto's diversity objectives by developing a diverse top qualified pool of candidates (as applicable by geography).

§  Involve the necessary global or regional recruiting project

§  Support TC Manager on other related tasks when required

Knowledge & Skill requirements

§  Bachelor degree or above from university, majored in Human Resources or English is preferred;

§  Fluency in English, both in writing and speaking

§  Minimum 5 years relevant recruiting experience in international environment, experiences with Hi-tech industry is preferred; 

§  Solid skills and experiences in recruitment activities especially in candidate sourcing, performing candidates selections and assessment;

§  Result oriented, strong anti-pressure ability and very high sense of urgency

§  Is service-minded, accountable, passionate and self motivated;

§  Excellent communication skills effectively across all employee groups (executives, managers & employees)

§  Good organizational and administrative skills

§  High sense of responsibility and confidentiality

§  Team player with initiatives
