Major Accountabilities (Describe the 5-7 main results of the role to be achieved )
1. Lead a small in-house accounting team (initially 2 people) to take charge of all general ledger transactions, closing and financial statement reporting, that is statutory and group consolidation.
2. Responsible to review daily accounting and ensure accounting compliance with group guidelines (e.g. NAM, NFCM).
3. Supervise costing booking and analysis, inventory and fixed assets
4. Manage and control month-end closing process to improve the efficiency and effectiveness
5. Develop high quality balance sheet analysis including verification activities
6. Build efficient accounting and reporting work instruction and procedure
7. Ensure the timely completion and compliance of external and internal audit
8. Lead ERP surrounding system implementation and enhancement
9. Responsible for local statutory reporting, e.g. Financial Bureau Reporting…. etc including annual filing and review for legal entities
10. Handle personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, absenteeism, performance issues, etc
11. Work with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advise on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff
Other duties as assigned
Education: |
· Bachelor or above degree in Accounting / Financial Management, CPA or equivalent is must |
Languages: |
· Fluency in English, oral and written · Professional writing (financial statements and accounting position papers preparation) |
Experience: |
· Minimum experience of 5-7 years within Finance and at least be manager more than 3 years · Obtain cross functional knowledge in finance/accounting filed with strong financial accounting, reporting and tax experience, familiar with IFRS and PRC GAAP · Capability to build-up, integrate and lead the team including different competence · Strong interpersonal, communications, negotiation, problem solving and analytical skill · Willingness to make decisions and take over responsibilities · Accurate, analytical, reliable, team work spirit, highly responsible, strong sense in keeping confidentiality, pro-active, self-motivated, committed, open-minded, able to work under pressure with tight deadline and multi tasks · Experience in project management, ERP (SAP) implementation experience is a plus |
